Print This Page Japan Identifies Low-Path Bird Flu Virus
JAPAN - The veterinary authorities have sent a report to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) identifying the virus as H7N6.
The Japanese veterinary authority sent Follow up report No. 1 dated 2 March to the OIE.
The virus causing the low-pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) has been identified as the H7N6 serotype.
