Hy-Line Appoints New Technical Services Director
US - Dr Kristjan Bregendahl has been appointed Director of Technical Services for Hy-Line International.The announcement was made by Dr Douglas Grieve, president of Hy-Line International.
In his new position, Dr Bregendahl is responsible for the overall health status of Hy-Line International's pedigree and multiplication breeding stock, establishing the nutritional requirements of the Hy-Line varieties, and providing world class technical services to Hy-Line International customers worldwide.
Dr Bregendahl joined Hy-Line International in July 2008 as a member of the Global Technical Services department and has been a valuable addition with his expertise in layer nutrition.
He received his Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition from Iowa State University in 2001 and completed post-doctoral studies at the Laboratory of Nutritional Ecology at the University of Guelph in 2003. He served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences at Iowa State University from 2003 to 2008.
