In this new role, Tom Exley will continue to work closely with Bob Dobbie, President of International Business, who is responsible for all of Aviagen's activities in Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania. He will continue in his role of Business Manager for Turkey, Middle East and Africa but will also work with the other Business Managers to coordinate the growing Aviagen activities and enhance the service provided to customers across the international region. Among the key aspects of his role will be to oversee the development of Aviagen personnel within the region along with implementation of successful business practices.

Tom Exley

Tom Exley joined Aviagen in 1990 in the pedigree production department. He also worked in Aviagen's internal great grand parent operation before becoming an International Technical Service Manager in 1997, working with customers in Scandinavia and Iran. In 2000, he took over as Regional Technical Manager for Turkey, Middle East and Africa and assumed the role of Business Manager for the region four years later. His experience and knowledge of production, technical, commercial and business management roles will serve him well as a key member of the International Management Team.

Bob Dobbie said: "As our business continues to grow, we need to think about specific support for those regions that are seeing the most growth. Customers will benefit from this more efficient management structure as Tom's new role will make it easier for the regional teams and customers to share best practise from around the world.

Tom has been with Aviagen for many years and has a range of skills and experience which will compliment our existing approach as we continue to expand our business across the world."
