Viet Nam Reports HPAI Case
VIET NAM - There has been a new case of H1N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI).

The Vietnamese veterinary authoirity sent Follow Up Report No. 34 dated 13 December to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The report describes one new case of HPAI at Tan Loc Bac Commune in the province of Ca Mau in the south of the country. On a farm of 350 birds (type unspecified), 184 showed symptoms and 178 of them died. The remainining birds were destroyed.
