First Jump Start in Poland

08 June 2011
Vencomatic

POLAND - Vencomatic Polska has installed the first aviary rearing system in Poland.

On 27 May, Vencomatic Polska organised an open day to show the Jump Start system of Vencomatic to the public.

Rearing is essential for good results in an aviary system. In the rearing period, chicks need to learn how to jump to and from different levels. Vencomatic has developed the Jump Start to train the birds. A gradual change in levels, through which water and feed is offered at different levels teaches the birds to move through the system. When young hens have been trained in a proper way, they will have no problems finding their way in an aviary system.

The open day was well attended, amongst the visitors were farmers from all across Poland. They were very curious and inquisitive. During the event, a presentation was given about the Jump Start system by Marcin Lebok of Vencomatic Polska. Afterwards, he received many questions about the Jump Start and about the Bolegg Terrace, which is Vencomatic's aviary system.
