Janssen Pharmaceutica Completes Divestiture
08 July 2011BELGIUM - Janssen Pharmaceutica NV has completed the divestiture of its animal health business to Elanco.
Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, part of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, has completed the divestiture of its Animal Health business to Elanco, a division of Eli Lilly and Company. Financial terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.
Under the terms of the transaction, Elanco acquires products, contracts and related intellectual property and marketing authorisations. The terms of the offer also include that the employees, active in 11 different countries, transfer to Elanco to support a significantly expanded portfolio of products.
