The new facility brings Pavlovskaya’s total capacity up to 50 million eggs each year.

The hatchery is being commissioned in two phases, with nine SmartSet™ 115 setters in the first phase and a further seven installed in phase two. With the completion of both phases by 2012, the new Pavlovskaya hatchery will increase capacity by 32 mln eggs per annum.

Since first installing Smart™ incubation technologies in 2007, the Pavlovskaya hatchery delivered significant growth, prompting further investment and development in 2010, to take capacity from 12 to 18 million eggs per annum.

Pavlovskaya’s production director, Elena Nemchinova, remarks: “We have enjoyed a highly professional and productive relationship with Pas Reform over the years.

“Our collaboration continues to improve day-old chick uniformity, which optimises farm management to achieve the lowest feed conversion rates. The benefits of our single-stage hatcheries are evident all the way through production.”

With investment support from Nizhegorodskaya regional government, Pavlovskaya and its associated enterprises have been recognised for their dynamic growth and contribution to regional development by Governor Valeriy Shanzev.
