Three Newcastle Disease Outbreaks in Hadarom

ISRAEL - The Israeli veterinary authorities have reported three new outbreaks of Newcastle disease in Hadarom.
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 9 yesterday, 2 February. The affected population comprises 3-week-old broilers and 30-week-old table egg layers.
Out of 179000 susceptible birds, approximately 13000 cases were identified. 2660 deaths were recorded, and 168500 birds were destroyed.
The source of the outbreak remains inconclusive and the epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
