Three HPAI Outbreaks in Two Regions

VIET NAM - The Vietnamese veterinary authorities have reported three new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Thanh Hoa and Quang Tri.
Follow-up report no. 60 was sent to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) yesterday, 8 February.
Out of 2180 susceptible birds, 1035 cases were identified. 935 deaths were recorded, and 1245 birds were destroyed.
The source of the outbreak remains inconclusive.
