Led by Dr. Nabil Darwish, Director General of Cairo Poultry Company (CPC) Grandparent division, this was the 16th CPC training school to be held. Dr Khaled Moustafa, General Manager of CPC Grandparent division, welcomed the 26 students to the event and emphasised the commitment of Aviagen and their Egyptian Arbor Acres distributor, Misr Grandparent Company (MPG), to continuing to support these and similar events to further the knowledge and expertise of their customers.

The week long course was run under the control of Dr. Sayed Shalash, the school director and facilitator supported by Sales and Technical manager Eng. Atef Magheed.

In addition to a number of local lecturers and experts from the Egyptian Industry, Aviagen’s Stanley Millar updated the students on the activities of Arbor Acres throughout the Middle East and Africa looking at new customers and case studies. Regional Technical Manager Puzant Dakessian spoke to the audience on aspects of male management while Arbor Acres Regional Veterinarian Dr Akos Klausz lectured on veterinarian issues.

Stanley Millar, Commercial Manager for Middle East and Africa said: “This might be the 16th CPC training school we have held but interest has never been as strong. The Arbor Acres bird is well suited to the region and has been producing great results.

“One of the reasons for that is the close relationship between Arbor Acres, Misr Grandparent Company, our distributor and customers like CPC. Dr Nabil Darwish and Dr Khaled Moustafa have done a great job of establishing Arbor Acres as a breed of choice and MPG as the supplier of choice. These events build relationships and share knowledge, both of which deliver long term benefits for the wider poultry industry.”

Puzant Dakessian underlined the historical commitment of Aviagen to education and training of new generations and highly appreciated the active steps taken by MPG over the years to serve this mutual mission.

Dr Khaled Moustafa commented: “Aviagen, through the Arbor Acres brand, has become a truly dependable partner both in terms of product performance and after sales service. The CPC School and another number of events are examples of ever increasing cooperation and both parties’ dedication to service our customers in Egypt.”
