Chicken Value and Exports Remain High

BRAZIL - Chicken meat prices continue to rise owing to high export values, particularly in the Southeastern regions of the country, reports the Center of Advanced Studies on Applied Economics (CEPEA).

According to CEPEA, frozen chicken is even more geared for the export market.

This month, the highest price accumulated to 22 per cent in Pará de Minas, where a kilogram of the product was sold for R$3.69 on Thursday, 29 August.
