Egg producers for over 60 years, L.J. Fairburn and Son Limited has just been included in the London Stock Exchange Group’s '1000 Companies to Inspire Britain'. It joins a rich and varied list of businesses that are considered to be shining examples of great British small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).

he London Stock Exchange report, 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain, is a comprehensive analysis of the UK’s leading SMEs. The report was produced to highlight the exceptional contribution small and medium enterprises make to the UK economy. L J Fairburn and Son Limited is one of 4.5 million businesses in this sector, recognised as the main companies generating new job creation since the financial crisis.

To be given such outstanding recognition, L J Fairburn and Son Limited has demonstrated positive growth in revenue over the last four years, increased employee numbers, work space and had major new contract wins.
