According to The Hindu Times a weather advisory bulletin issued by Agromet Field Unit, Veterinary College and Research Institute in Namakkal and Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai, said the sky was expected to be cloudy over the next three days with chance of rainfall at a few places.

“Ensure the moisture content of newly arrived feed ingredients is less than 11 per cent,” it recommended.

Mycotoxins have been detected in sunflower meal and maize and hence farmers were asked to test the feed ingredients before feeding these products to poultry.
