This pioneering company intends to distribute a high-quality product in the Panama market, and to have the opportunity to extend its operations into neighbouring countries in collaboration with the company NUBES TROPICALES from Costa Rica (picture here on the right at the signature).

NUBES TROPICALES

This Costa Rican company received its first delivery of NOVOgen BROWN parent stock in December 2014.

Its owner, Burton Kornelsen, is delighted with the excellent results obtained by his customers using NOVOgen BROWN commercial laying hens.

They report excellent egg quality and a very high production level obtained with the NOVOGEN genetics. The calm behaviour of the animal makes it an easier bird to manage and allows it to adapt to the different climatic and production conditions in the country.

The company distributes commercial layers throughout the entire country. In Costa Rica, table egg consumption represents quite an important part of the national diet with an average annual consumption of 200 eggs per capita.

ARCE AVÍCOLA

The company ARCE AVÍCOLA has a particularly strong reputation in Panama and has enjoyed continuous growth. It is actively helping to boost the Panama market.

The company has 180,000 broiler parent stock and in October will receive its first batch of 6,500 NOVOgen BROWN parent stock females.

This is a sufficient quantity both to produce its own commercial laying hens and to introduce the breed on the market. ARCE AVÍCOLA currently has about 300,000 layers.

Panama is a brown-egg market with an average egg consumption of around 137 eggs per capita per year.

ARCE AVÍCOLA and NUBES TROPICALES regard NOVOGEN as providing the opportunity to introduce a product into the Central American market with the kind of characteristics which make it the alternative sought by producers in these countries.

In November 2015, NOVOGEN concluded a distribution agreement with both companies.
