Aviagen boosts European Technical Team with key appointment
EU - Aviagen is underlining its commitment to the poultry market in Europe with the appointment of Tore Mercan to the position of Technical Service Manager to support customers in the UK and Western Europe.

Tore Mercan, who will be based in the UK, will join the existing technical team to support this market and will travel throughout the UK and Western Europe to ensure Aviagen customers receive effective technical advice and support.
An agricultural graduate from the university of Ankara, Tore has extensive experience of Ross products and practical bird management and was previously Technical Operations Manager for Ross Breeders Anatolia, Aviagen's Joint Venture Company in Turkey. Prior to that, Tore was Production Manager for Koy-Tur Holdings, working with both Parent Stock and Grandparent Stock.
Dinah Nicholson, European Technical Director, commented: "The European Technical team and I are delighted to welcome Tore to the team. He brings with him a long and positive association with Aviagen and vast experience of the Ross products. His knowledge and experience will help our customers to maximise profits throughout the production process."
