Print This Page Concern over continued price fall in Czech Republic
CZECH REPUBLIC - The Disc poultry sales co-operative in the Czech Republic says that the price received by Czech poultry producers for their production is continuing to fall.
Chicken producers have now been losing money on sales since around August last year, says the CTK news agency's Business News.
Poultry processors in August were paying less than Kc20 (USD0.91) per kilo for chicken, a price below the cost of production, said Disc.
