Salmonella pathogen reduction requires an integrated approach to food safety, which means every stage from egg to plate should be treated as the last line of defense. 

In this video, I discuss how a bird’s own innate immune system can be used as a mechanism to try to eliminate or reduce the amount of Salmonella carriage through the use of Megan® vaccines to help manage and mitigate Salmonella contamination in poultry production at the farm level.
