Postdoctoral Researcher at Department of Population Health and Pathobiology at North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Wagner earned her Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Wagner is pursuing employment in academia or industry positions that will allow her to use her unique skillset to conduct valuable research to better food-animal welfare and farm profitability. Her specific research interests include 1) developing and validating objective tools for the assessment of food-animal health, production and welfare and 2) evaluating alternative management practices to reduce stress and improve productivity to promote positive animal welfare.
