Hormel earnings slide on weak turkey market
MINNISOTA - based Hormel Foods Corp. reported earnings slid 9 percent for the third quarter that ended July 26. Company officials attributed the decline to a glut in the turkey market, which resulted in a 15.1 percent sales decrease for the company's Jennie-O Turkey Store division.
