Innovator turning feathers into gold

MISSOURI - The nation's poultry processing plants are producing more than breasts, thighs and wings. They're also churning out 5 billion pounds of feathers every year — an amount that would fill enough tractor-trailers to occupy two lanes of Interstate 10 from California to Florida. In those feathers, David Emery sees a gold mine.
