Turkey, anyone? Minnesota No. 1 in production
MINNESOTA - Minnesota turkey producers will grow 45 million turkeys this year, about the same number that will be eaten nationwide for Thanksgiving. In fact, 90 percent to 95 percent of households will feast on turkey during Thanksgiving, said Steve Olson, executive director of the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association.
