Lion Quality eggs back on TV - UK - Lion Quality egg producers have announced a return to TV advertising as part of a £2.5 million marketing campaign in 2004.

The marketing campaign will continue the successful ‘Eggs. Fast Food And Good For You.’ theme with the TV ads, showing eggs in everyday situations being used to create quick, easy and healthy meal solutions.

The four executions of the ad, entitled Eggs Make a Meal out of Anything, will air on GMTV and satellite channels for at least the first six months of 2004.

The TV campaign will be backed up by a wide-ranging PR and point of sale campaign with housewives, caterers, schools and health professionals all being targeted with modern messages about Lion eggs. New recipe leaflets are planned for use in the media and at point of sale to ensure that consumers who see the ads get the chance to try the recipes at home.

Andrew Parker, Chairman of the BEIC, said: "It is fantastic to see TV advertising for eggs return. Advertising has been the lynchpin of the Lion eggs marketing campaign which has helped reverse the decline in egg sales and seen consumer confidence grow to new levels."
