South Korea culls poultry after bird flu outbreak

SOUTH KOREA - South Korean health officials slaughtered thousands of chickens and ducks on Tuesday and sealed off a wide tract of farmland to fight the apparent spread of a highly contagious bird flu virus that could be fatal to humans, officials said.
