US animal rights activists want to ban fois gras practises

US - Foie gras, the gourmet pâté delicacy derived from the livers of force-fed geese and ducks, has become the focus of animal rights activists in northern California, in the USA. The activists are campaigning to shut down Sonoma Foie Gras, Sonoma, California, the West Coast's only producer of the gourmet food.
