Alabama poultry industry resumes sales to Cuba

ALABAMA - Alabama's poultry industry has resumed sales to Cuba that were interrupted by the island nation's concerns about avian influenza. State Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks said Wednesday that poultry sales to Cuba from Alabama resumed April 14 - a day after Sparks visited Havana on his third trip to Cuba negotiating sales of agriculture products.
