Hendrix/Sverdlovsky contract will raise Hisex share in Russia - THE NETHERLANDS - Federal State Unitary Enterprise Breeding Poultry Factory “Sverdlovsky” signed an agreement with Hendrix Poultry Breeders B.V. to produce Hisex White and Hisex Brown parentstock in the Russian Federation.

The director of Sverdlovsky, Alexander Grachev, commented: “The Hisex White and Hisex Brown have proven to fit superbly well for the various conditions in not only the Russian Federation but also many other parts of the world. Therefore, since Sverdlovsky is committed firstly to its large customer base in the Russian Federation, the decision was made after a stringent evaluation and study of the Hisex White and Hisex Brown products”.

This agreement will give HPB access to more than 50% of the egg market in the Russian Federation

Sverdlovsky is the leading company in the distribution of layer day old parent stock chicks in the Russian Federation, with a market share of about 40% out of the country’s 90 million layer day old chick placements per year.

Out of Sverdlovsky’s state of the art GPS facilities and hatcheries, deliveries of layer parent stock chicks are made to the Russian market. Sverdlovsky, founded July 1976, is based near Ekaterinenburg, Ural Area, Russian Federation.
