Yannig Le Treut to join Lallemand - FRANCE - Lallemand announced today the recruitment of Yannig Le Treut for its Animal Nutrition division. He will manage the worldwide monogastric activities of the company and be responsible of commercial management in France and Belgium.

Mr. Le Treut is a renowned specialist in animal nutrition and, most importantly, an expert of the pig and poultry industries. He will bring to Lallemand his experience, his competencies and his network to support the monogastric-specific range of the company and will also be in charge of commercial coordination of the company's products portfolio for the French and Belgium territories.

Yannig Le Treut commented on his new position: " I believe that one of the solutions to answer today's challenges of the pig industry is to create added value down to its meat products, by improving nutrition and health balance, and food quality and safety. If I have decided to join Lallemand, it is with a view to support and contribute to these developments, since I am confident that Lallemand has the potential needed to achieve these goals." He added: "I am very excited to be in charge with the monogastric range of Lallemand, since I know these products very well after years of experimenting and marketing them as an outsider partner. I believe in the potential of these solutions as long as they are integrated with good breeding practices."

Yannig Le Treut, 44 years old, graduated as a veterinary doctor in 1984. Early in his carrier he specialized in animal nutrition, which he sees as the cornerstone of a healthy and profitable animal production. Prior to joining Lalllemand, Yannig Le Treut was Director of INZO°, one of the European leaders in animal feed, and, before this nomination he had managed the porcine activities of the firm for six years. Prior to this, Mr. Le Treut spent eight years managing the porcine activities of major French porcine cooperatives: first UCANOR, and then Agrial.
