Intervet Appoints International Product Manager Poultry Products THE NETHERLANDS - Intervet International in The Netherlands is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Mr. Herman van Iersel to the position International Product Manager Poultry Products within the Intervet International Marketing Department.

His appointment completes our newly structured International Poultry Marketing Team which includes two International Product Managers and four International Technical Managers. A structure which provides a balance between marketing and technical expertise to best support our local subsidiaries located in more than 54 markets across the globe."

Herman joined Intervet in 2001 as a Technical Marketing Manager of the International Feed Additives Group (IFAG), responsible for the marketing of Salocin and Hostazym in poultry and pigs. He qualified from the Agricultural University of Wageningen, the Netherlands, with an MSc degree in Animal Nutrition and during his subsequent professional life developed an interest in marketing. As a result Herman has among others participated in and completed several marketing courses.

Prior to joining Intervet, Herman gained considerable experience working as a consultant and nutritionist for the Dutch based animal feed company, Hendrix UTD. In addition he gained extensive experience in the dairy industry as product manager for Feed products. In his various capacities at Hendrix UTD and Intervet International Herman has always had an International responsibility.
