Farm Pride losses could hit $1m

AUSTRALIA - Egg producer Farm Pride Foods Ltd says it is heading for a first half year loss of between $600,000 to $1 million.

Farm Pride laid the blame on oversupply in the egg market which is putting downward pressure on its margins.

It said the final result for the six months to December 31 will depend on the December trading result, with more accurate figures available in mid February.
