Hybro appoints new country manager for India
THE NETHERLANDS - Dutch broiler breeding company Hybro BV has appointed Ms. Anke van der Steen as country manager Hybro India, with effect from January 30, 2006.
Anke (30) graduated in Agricultural and Environmental Economics at the Agricultural University of Wageningen, The Netherlands, and joined Nutreco
in September 2002 as a management trainee.
After completing Nutreco's two-year trainee program, including several successful projects for Hybro, Hendrix UTD feedmill and Pingo Poultry
Integration among other Nutreco companies, Anke joined Pingo Poultry Integration in September 2004 as a Shift leader at Pingo's slaughterhouse
in Belgium.
"Anke has demonstrated a solid track-record through her work within Nutreco to date," says Hybro's area manager Asia, Vladimir Walk, "and we are
pleased to welcome her to this new role, which comes as a result of the strong growth that we are seeing through our distributor partnership with
Pioneer.
"Anke will work closely with Pioneer, as well as having responsibility for further business development and growth for our PN broiler breeders, the Hybro bird of choice here in India."
Anke will report directly to Vladimir Walk, and joins a growing company that celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, with a continuing commitment to providing fast, effective technical services, a competitive product portfolio and shortened lines of communication for an ever-larger customer-base worldwide.
