New appointment puts full-care technical service into Western Europe for Hybro

THE NETHERLANDS - Dutch broiler breeding company Hybro BV has appointed a highly qualified new technical manager for Western Europe. Mr. Nico Van de Walle takes up his new post from September 1, 2006.

Mr. Van de Walle (31) holds a Bachelor Degree in Electronics – Automation and also studied Modern Broiler Breeder Management at PTC+ Barneveld and Hands on Broiler Management at Cobb UK. From 1997, Mr. Van de Walle worked for Roxell NV, Belgium, where he was appointed product manager for broiler breeders in 2000.

Hybro sales manager Wilfred Folkeringa says of the appointment: “We are delighted that Nico has accepted this demanding new role within the Western European team”.

“By travelling all over the world, Nico gained a great deal of practical experience regarding broiler breeders and poultry in general, and his appointment means we are in a stronger position to ensure that each of our markets in Western Europe has access to dedicated t echnical advice, which caters very specifically for the challenges and issues these markets face.”

Mr. Van de Walle, who is a Belgian national, will be responsible for Hybro technical breeder and broiler performance and (after-sales) service. He will work in cooperation with the local technical advisors and country managers and will report to Mrs Annoeschka te Velthuis-Brandwijk, Area Manager Western Europe.

Nico joins a growing Western European team within a company that celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and is committed to providing fast, effective technical services, a competitive product portfolio and shortened lines of communication - to become the preferred partner for an ever-larger customer-base worldwide.
