IRELAND - A meeting of the company`s committee has been taking place at the facility in Newcastlewest. A provisional liquidator has been appointed by the High Court to the Limerick poultry company.

There is speculation that the Castlemahon Chicken Processing plant owned by the O`Kane Group, could announce it will cease operations at the end of the year.
It would be a further blow to the locality following the company`s decision to reduce its workforce by 150 last year.
