BELARUS - The Belarusian government is considering banning sales of poultry and eggs at markets, such that poultry sales would only be allowed in supermarkets and in small grocers' shops, according to the Interfax news agency.

The relevant legislation is now under discussion by government agencies. Analysts in Minsk say the move is designed to support domestic confectionery producers.
