CROATIA - Croatia has halted imports of poultry originating from Hungary after a suspected outbreak of bird flu on a farm there, the agriculture ministry said on Wednesday.

"This measure will remain in force until there are final results of tests on the presence of avian influenza," Reuters cited the ministry as saying in a statement.

Hungary has culled some 3,300 geese at a farm in the southeastern Csongrád county where birds may have died of bird flu.
