A Rosselkhoznadzor official said that under a bilateral agreement with Chile, Chilean exports will initially be controlled by a Russian specialist working with a company in Argentina.

Rosselkhoznadzor said that in Latin American, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay currently export meat to Russia, but that they could soon be joined by other countries such as Mexico, where Russian specialists recently completed an audit of the country’s quality control system for meat exports.
