Poultry Industry To Boost Exports

PHILIPPINES - The Philippine Association of Broiler Integrators is aiming to export about 5,000 to 10,000 metric tons of poultry products, mainly to Japan, from only 1,000 MT last year. Prior to the July 2005 export ban, the private sector already targetted a 10,000 MT poultry export in that year.

Aside from Japan, poultry integrators may be able to also tap aside other export markets this year including Hong Kong.
