Vencomatic OpenHouseTour2007
UK - The Vencomatic OpenHouseTour2007 took place over 5 days in June when UK poultry producers were given the opportunity to meet Vencomatic dealers in the UK and learn more about the company and its products.The five venues were Broome near Diss, Sampford Peverell in Devon, Hereford, Penrith Cumbria and Immingham in North Lincs.
Main thrust of the meetings was to make existing and potential new entrants into the alternative egg production systems aware of the potential; advantages of incorporating aviary systems to maximise bird numbers within the poultry house without compromising stocking density legislation.
The presentation was followed by an open discussion forum allowing producers to discuss both practical and technical aspects surrounding the use of the companies different free range and aviary systems.
