RUSSIA - The Russian Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision gradually extends the list of the countries banned from importing its meat or poultry production into Russia.

This time Germany and Brazil were observed to supply poultry contaminated with salmonella. On the whole 45 tons of production was rejected.

Earlier the Russian Federal Agency prohibited some Brazilian and German companies to import pork into Russia. However, Russia isn’t going to ban all meat supplies from these countries.
