Prices Of Poultry Products Down
INDIA - A steep fall in sale has prompted the Tamil Nadu Egg Producers Association to reduce the wholesale prices of broiler chicken and eggs.

The price of an egg would be reduced from Rs 1.50 to Rs 1.45 and broiler chicken from Rs 36 to Rs 32 per kg, the Association said.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Association here last night.
Chicken and egg sales have come down with Hindus avoiding non-vegetarian food during the 'Purattasi' month and Muslims observing Ramzan fast.
