In addition to visiting well-known businesses of the regional poultry industry, Meerpohl and Ter Avest also met with representatives of the industry for detailed expert talks. Among others, they were welcomed by long-term Big Dutchman business partners such as Al Jabel Farms in the UAE as well as Cairo Poultry Co. and Arab Poultry Breeders in Cairo, Egypt.

Meerpohl and Ter Avest furthermore visited Big Dutchman distributor Khudrama Est. for Agricultural Services in Riad, Saudi Arabia and APCECO (Arab Poultry & Cattle Equipment Co.) in the UAE, a partner of the German housing equipment supplier.

“The poultry industry of the region is well positioned and fit for the future. We believe that Big Dutchman technology and know-how has contributed its mite to this - after all we have been having good business relations with the states of the Middle East for many years now" was the resume Meerpohl and ter Avest gave in regard to their information trip.

As a special bonus of the trip Meerpohl mentioned the proverbial Arabian hospitality that the two Big Dutchman executives experienced throughout the entire trip.
