Fieldale Co-founder Passes Away
US - Joe S. Hatfield, the founding president of Fieldale Farms Corp., died on Saturday.

The North-East Georgian has reported the death at the weekend of Joe S. Hatfield following a brief illness.
He had served as president of Fieldale Farms since he and Lee and Tom Arrendale purchased Ralston Purina Northeast Georgia poultry operation in 1971.
Mr Hatfield remained president and CEO at the time of his death.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday 24 June at First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville, Georgia, USA.
