Uplift of Livestock NWFP Govt's Top Priority

PESHAWAR - NWFP Minister for Livestock Haji Hidayatllah has reported that the provincial government was string hard for the uplift of livestock and dairy sector for its high income generation potential in rural areas.

“The NWFP government is giving special focus on improvement of livestock sector by providing necessary modern scientific and medical training to its employees,” he added.

According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, he said this while addressing the certificates and kits distribution ceremony here after the training to the farmers in cattle promotion under the livestock, research and development in collaboration of SRSP.

Director Livestock and Research Development, Fida Muhammad, officers of the department, office bearers of SRSP, representatives of Poultry Farm Association as well as trainee farmers as well as students.

Haji Hidayatullah said that the government keeping in view the importance of livestock was taking effective steps for the development of this sector. He asked the trainers to use their knowledge in the promotion of cattle as well as economic development of the country. He said the farmers should take much care of their cattle for earning their livelihood.
