Chicken Eggs to Cost Less Starting Today

MALAYSIA - Chicken eggs will cost less in Peninsular Malaysia from Monday, the Federation of Livestock Farmers' Associations of Malaysia said.

In a statement, it said the price of Grade AA eggs would be 24.5 sen each compared to 26.5 sen at the moment.

For Grade A eggs, the price is 24 sen each (down from 26 sen), Grade B (23 sen, previously 25 sen), Grade C (22 sen, previously 24 sen), Grade D (21 sen, prevoiusly 23 sen) and Grade E (20 sen, down from 22 sen).

According to Bernama.com, it said the new prices were based on market supply and demand.
