Defra Publishes Foot Pad Dermatitis Scorecard
UK - Defra has produced a scorecard that will used in the processing plants as guidance on the assessment of this broiler welfare indicator.
As part of the Broiler Welfare Directive, footpad dermatitis is one of the welfare indicators that will be assessed at processing plants, says the National Farmers Union (NFU).
