Capacity of poultry factory, Deveci Broyler (trademark: SEBA), the country's major poultry producer, is to increase by 60 per cent, according to Azerbaijan Business Center.

Azerbaijan Investment Company's executive director, Afgan Isayev, reports that Deveci Broyler's current capacity is 12,000 tons of poultry a year.

He said: "The enterprise makes high quality products, and this project is one of our most successful investments. Over the next two years, we intend to increase factory's capacity up to 20 tons a year."

In accordance with the State Privatization Program I, the Devechi poultry factory passed the privatisation process in 1997. AIC's equity stake is 25 per cent.
