The evolution of this year's show parallels the focus of the programs Novus will be presenting during the 2013 event – to foster a better understanding of the connections that exist throughout the entire supply chain, the challenges that must be faced at all points in this process and the nutritional solutions and services that can help producers be more efficient and ultimately, more profitable.

"Today's consumer is better educated about how the food they are eating is produced and nutrition tops the list of their concerns," notes Dr Scott Carter, Executive Global Marketing Manager, Novus International. "As a health and nutrition solutions company, Novus understands how each step in the supply chain can directly influence the quality of the end product. Not all customer demands are best met at processing and sometimes feed cost decisions made at the production stage end up costing more than they save."

Novus not only supports poultry producers with nutrition solutions that build a strong foundation for any operation, but also with connecting different supply chain points focused on increasing quality and return on investment.

Novus is sponsoring multiple events during IPPE, beginning with an educational luncheon at the Georgia World Congress Center on Monday, 28 January 2013, featuring Andy Vance. His presentation, How We Impact Consumer Trends, will discuss current consumer trends and how these trends impact the poultry industry as a whole.

AMI will also be discussing this topic in two Consumer Trends sessions held on Tuesday, 29 January and Wednesday, 30 January from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For detailed information on these two important events, as well a complete listing of all Novus events during IPPE, visit the Novus web site.

Novus is also challenging IPPE attendees' knowledge of the global poultry industry with a "Fast Facts" online trivia game. Stop by the Novus booth #1529 in Hall A to play. A Kindle Fire will be awarded to one lucky winner each day during the IPPE Expo.
