Chinese Delegation Audits Argentina's Poultry Establishments

ARGENTINA - The National Health Service and Food Quality (Senasa) received a delegation from China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), which audited poultry farms in Argentina, with routes to export poultry products bound to the Asian country.

Technical negotiations were made between AQSIQ and Senasa. These included the exchange of responses to questionnaires and a visit by the Chinese delegation to Argentina which took place between 1 and 5 July.

The Chinese delegation inspected Argentina's system of supervision, control and health certification.

During the meetings with Senasa officials, ASQIQ members expressed interest in further strengthening agricultural ties with Argentina. They also expressed their commitment to continue deepening trade relations with the country.
