IEC Approves New Egg Foundation
GLOBAL - Approval was received at the IEC Cape Town 2013 Conference for the establishment of a new Egg Foundation.Following on from the success of the seminar held in Zambia, where the IEC partnered with the FAO, the Foundation will initially focus on knowledge transfer in the format of educational seminars in developing countries.
The concept is to boost egg production and consumption, with a clear emphasis on better ways to communicate to consumers and governments the excellent nutritional value of eggs and their key role in human nutrition.
