The UK Branch of WPSA is pleased to announce their 31st Poultry Science Symposium on 'Sustainable Poultry Production in Europe', to be held in Chester (UK), 8 to 10 September 2014.

Sustainability of European poultry production encompasses all the factors needed to create a durable industry. This symposium aims to explore and ultimately define sustainability in the context of poultry production and to answer the questions around how we achieve a sustainable poultry industry in Europe.

The symposium promises to be informative, challenging and highly relevant for those interested in helping create a resilient European poultry industry. With UK and international invited speakers representing industry and academia, the programme will explore the three pillars of sustainability: Environment; Social and Economic.

The symposium will commence at 12 noon on Monday 8 September and will close with lunch on Wednesday 10 September.
