Aviagen Welcomes Egyptian Distributors to Vet Laboratory
SCOTLAND, UK - Aviagen® shared modern veterinary laboratory knowledge and cutting edge techniques with its Ross® Grandparent distributors, Wadi Group, recently as part of a three-day training event at its veterinary laboratory in Scotland.

The training forms part of a series run for their Grandparent regional customers, to ensure all distributor laboratories are performing to the highest standards set by Aviagen.
Central Laboratory Wadi Holdings Technical Director, Dr Hussein Aly Hussein Ahmed and Head of Lab Sectors, Dr Naglaa El Hinawy, attended the training where time was spent reviewing Salmonella isolation and confirmation methods, lab quality presentations and looking at serotyping, sample preparation and sensitivity testing.
Dr Hussein Aly Hussein Ahmed said: "This visit provided us with an excellent opportunity to view and work in an accredited lab and receive three days of essential lab training which will help us set up our own hi-tech laboratory."

Neil Clark, Regional Technical Manager at Aviagen said: "We were thrilled to welcome the Wadi team from Egypt to our laboratory. The visit will allow Wadi to implement and synchronise laboratory practices with Aviagen standards, improve flock monitoring and further ensure freedom of final product for vertically transmitted diseases."
